Egg Masala

8:08 PM | Publish by Kayal

Ingredients:

Egss (Boiled) - 4
Onion (Big) - 2
Tomato - 1
Aniseed - 1 tsp
Sambar Powder - 2 tsp
Salt - To taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Method:

Cut the eggs into two vertical halves.
Keep the kadai in the stove and season the curry with aniseed in 1 tbsp of oil.
Add the onion and saute it till it becomes translucent, then add the tomatoes and saute till it gets cooked.
Add the turmeric, sambar powder and salt and add 1 glass of water.
Once the raw smell is gone amd the gravy is thick, add the eggs and saute it gently so that the eggs doesnt get broken.
Cook it for 5 mins by adding 1 tsp of oil, so that the salt and sambar powder gets into the eggs fully.

It goes well with sambar rice. The gravy with plain rice is an excellent combination. A simple recipe which tastes great.
